Need help deciding how to coordinate these?

Here is my dress:

Here is the kilt my fiance is wearing:

My question is, for a summer wedding, looking at all these together, what colors should I go with for the bridesmaids dresses? Fresh blue with a cream belt is what I was originally thinking, but that blue is kinda dark for summer. Should I do a champagne color or will that be too close to my dress? The fresh blue is the swatch at the bottome next to the navy blue. If you hold the cursor over the colors it tells you what they're called. Any feedback would be great!

I think it's easy to overthink color. The fresh blue is pretty and goes nicely with the kilt, so I would tend to go with that and not worry so much about the season. After all, colors don't stop being pretty just because you turn the page on a calendar.

If you're worried about the overall look being darker than you wanted, make sure to use some very bright flowers in the bridesmaid's bouquets. Add a pop of hot pink or sunshine yellow to brighten the overall effect. But I happen to think a strong blue on a summer's day is very pretty and actually flattering to more women than the ubiquitous little black dress people are putting on bridesmaids all year long.
