Something called gossamer. The descent of millions of spider webs from the air on a warm summer morning, I have only see it once and it was remarkable.

In second place is ''Will o' Wisp''. On a quiet lake, only 6ft deep and with a very muddy organic bottom, as our boat nudged into a small bay we had a huge rise of phosphorescent methanes, etc. incredible sight.

I live in England but I have only seen ''full'' gossamer once and partial events on three or four occasions.

Total eclipse of the sun. I have seen four of them. Nothing like it,
Crater Lake, Rain, Lightning, Mars, Comets, The Columbia River Gorge, Waterfalls... I have seen alot of cool stuff.
The explosion of Mt. Pinatubo. It was like the end of days.
I saw a huge meteor shower when i was a kid. apparantly it will never be seen like that again for generations to come. there were HUGE stars shooting constantly, often leaving bright streaks all across the sky. it was VERY cool!
