The Aurora ALX systems are currently the best. Alienware is extremely expensive, but unmatched when it comes to hardware optimization. When SLI was first introduced, they had Video Array technology, which was better and could use any two PCI-E graphics cards together without the drawbacks and compatibility issues that SLI had. Now they are offering PPU (PhysX Processing Unit) which is a separate processor that runs instructions specifically for the physical aspects of gaming. This provides a much better gaming experience - especially in PhysX enabled games.

As for controllers, I have a RumblePad around here somewhere, but I barely use it unless I'm running an emulator or something.

Alienware is WAY overrated! I have two Area-51 laptops and they both have been pieces of crap. Countless hardware issues and slow technical service. I know several others who have had similar encounters with their Alienware computers. They look nice, other than that, they SUCK! Report It

There are computers that you can get for a lot cheaper that will perform just as good or better, and are a lot cheaper.
