I need help with science questions there are ............?

on what plate of the crust are you located?which way is it taking you? 2.waht is happening where your plate is smashing into another.3.how do we know the earth has liquid core?4.why is the inner core solid even through it is hotter than the outer liquid core?5.how is the aurora related to the earth magnetic field? 6.if the earth rotated more slowly , would you

expected it to have as strong a magnetic field. 6.what factor are thought to be responsible for the earth magnetic field.

I need help with science questions there are ............?windows

1. It would probably help to know where you are to answer (e.g. North American Plate, Pacific Plate, etc.)

2. Depending on the type of plates smashing into each other, they can form mountain ranges, cause earthquakes and make volcanos. One usually subducts under the other, esp. if it is a heavier plate (i.e. oceanic plate) with a lighter plate (i.e. continental plate).

3. Lots of evidence, mainly from studying how seismic waves pass through the earth. These waves will move and bend and bounce in different ways depending on composition.

4. Lots of pressure.

5. In the atmosphere, electrons collide into each other and release energy in the form of light (and heat, etc) because of the magnetosphere. Auroras form curtains that move in alignment with the planet's magnetic field, which is evidence supporting this.
