DENVER - State Attorney General John Suthers on Friday filed a lawsuit against the federal government.

Suthers filed the suit as directed by Referendum K, which was approved by Colorado voters last November.

''As directed by voters, my office has filed suit against the federal government for its failure to protect and secure the borders. Although similar lawsuits initiated by other states have failed, we believe 9/11 has changed the way we must look at border security and whether the federal government is meeting its constitutional obligations,'' said Suthers in a statement.

The referendum stated that federal failures are costing state taxpayers when local government has to pay for health care, incarceration and criminal defense of suspected illegal immigrants.

I have to say, I normally am a big Cincinnati advocate- but its generally fairly well-known in Cincinnati that its not a great town to be single in. The nightlife scene in particular just isnt great- there are some good individual places, but overall, not great. So Im suprised to see it on the list. Of course, Cleveland is even worse, and its rated better than Cincinnati, so what do I know?

Yes, I've seen them many times from here in southern Canada, and they are indeed awesome. No pictures can convey what they're actually like: huge curtains of glowing iridescence, constantly moving and flicker! Mostly green but sometimes a brilliant red or pink. I hope you get to see them sometime.

Yes, but I saw it at temperate lattitudes, so it was pretty weak. I will get up to alaska to see them first hand.
I was stationed at Ft. Richardson Alaska for 2 and 1/2 years. I have spent hours watching them until my neck was sore. The best is when they are not just green but multi-colored. It is like a giant ribbon in the sky constantly being twisted. They make guard duty go by much faster!

They are one of my favorite things about my time in Alaska.
I saw it in North London. It was awesome, red and yellow bands of colour dancing really fast across the sky. Just the thing to make you think somebody slipped you some LSD. Very unusual this far south.

It was raining so bad lastnight that we didnt realize we were in such deep water tell it was to late.. Well the car shut off and wont start again this was lastnight we havent tried it since then... Well after pushing it out of the water we realized that the oil was coming out. I was told not to drive it tell the car drys out and to change the oil b4 trying to start again.. Is this correct? Or is there something else i should also be worried about? Its a 1997 Olds Aurora. This car was/is the best car id ever had.. Ive never had any problems with it at all.

The oil coming out of it, is not a ''good'' sign. Most cars, when you drive them in water, even if it's a foot, will eventually start again. You might have to run fans under it for a while to make sure it's dry, but the oil thing sounds like a completely different problem. Check the oil filter first, to see if it is fastened appropriately (tightly by hand). If that is not the answer, check around the engine for a possible sight where the oil is coming from. If you struck an object under water, and didn't realize it, you could have punched a whole in the engine somewhere. Also, place a clean white sheet or towel under the engine, to see if oil is still leaking. If so, don't drive it. have it towed to a shop for a diagnostic check.

I don't know if there's one thing I have to do so much as one thing I have to be; content.

Yeah, it's a bit sad but I think maybe if you can be content with what you did, content to leave everything else to those that come along behind and content to go wherever we are booked next time (after a stop on the rainbow bridge), then maybe we can leave with a clear mind and a calmness of a job done well (even if we missed the overtime and weekends) so we can take that step without fear.

There's lots I'd like to do and places I'd like to see and I may do both or they may not be part of my journey. I just really don't want this journey to feel like one I have to stay on from missed assignations, assignments or visits. When it's time for me to step from this road I'd like to be ready to jump on the bus for the next one which I don't think is possible without being able to let go. The Aurora ALX systems are currently the best. Alienware is extremely expensive, but unmatched when it comes to hardware optimization. When SLI was first introduced, they had Video Array technology, which was better and could use any two PCI-E graphics cards together without the drawbacks and compatibility issues that SLI had. Now they are offering PPU (PhysX Processing Unit) which is a separate processor that runs instructions specifically for the physical aspects of gaming. This provides a much better gaming experience - especially in PhysX enabled games.

Spending a lot of money on the Intel CPU and the Alienware package. Sure it looks cool but you probably could build one cheaper (and just as speedy) and still save some green.

As for a price drop by October, it may come down in price as most electronics do. But then Alienware not to be outdown will offer a M9900 with the latest and greatest and it may cost more. These manufacturers know the game too.

If you figure out what you want to build, use websites like www.anandtech.com or www.tomshardware.com to read reviews you can build a machine that you can upgrade for the future and still play the games you want and save some money doing it. Unless you have money to burn...

Windows just issued a service pack update for Vista. It probably automatically updated your Vista for you. It may had screwed up the drivers for the web cam. Try finding the drivers from alienware and reinstalling them.

Yeah, like everybody says, it's not working right. You've got a component worn out, either the pump or the rack. It has nothing to do with hoses or leaks. Any leak big enough to affect the actual hydraulic pressure would have already set your car on fire.

R.P. is mistaken - speed sensitive steering works exactly the opposite of what you're saying (just as you'd think. Who wants stiff steering when you're parking? Nobody).
the steering unit may be going out on it,this is how they do when they start going out,first they get hard to steer,id take it and have a good mechanic look at it ,and have him give you an opinion on it.more than likely its either the rack and pinion unit going bad or the pump is getting bad on it,either one will make it steer hard,good luck with it.
Go to a good shop and drain the fluid, check for metal in the dirty fluid, pump sounds like it is going or gone out.
OK, there are several variables that can cause what you are experiencing.

Isabella Ariel is the best combination, flows the best and the middle name is pretty sensible. Shiloh is a male name btw (curse Brangelina...) and understood to refer to the Messiah (aka Jesus from a Christian vantage point). Aurora is lovely but too repetitive with Isabella. The unusual Melody is better used as a first name and Madilyn is a pretty unattractive trend spelling of the lovely classic Madeline. I'm not going to start lecturing about the recent popularity of Isabella and how overdone the name and it's variants (Isabel, Isabelle, Isobel etc.) are since you've clearly made your mind about it already. It's a lovely name nonetheless even if a little less appealing due to it's popularity.

-Oldsmobile Aurora front clip used as a 4.0L v8 Mid Engine chassis, custom front end, fibreglass body, open wheels in front.

-3000gt 6G72 single turbo awd motor in a 1991 eagle talon. It shares a transmission with the all wheel drive 4G63 engine origenally in the car. The only stretch is getting the alternator belts to clear the frame. I already have the dash removed to swap wiring harnesses.

I dont think I can decide. I already have the talon. Ah well.

How do power windows work?norton 2008

The main components of a power window system are the motor, the regulator, and the switch(es). In your case, the motor is working, which tells you that the switch(es) is/are working. That leaves the regulator., which, BTW, is usually where the problem is when a window does not work properly. The regulator has a cable on it that is looped around the motor gear and attached to the window glass. When you push the switch, the motor gear turns thereby causing the cable on the regulator to move the glass up or down. When this cable breaks, comes off it's track, or one of it's nylon guides breaks, the window will not go up and/or down properly. The repair for this is to replace the regulator. If you are mechanically inclined, you can buy the regulator and install it yourself. Anywhere from about $80-$200 depending on whether it is available aftermarket(your local auto parts store) or from a GM dealer. If you take it to a shop to have it fixed, expect to pay about $250-$400. Good luck!!

Chicago nice area for young people?

I will work in aurora but defenetely want to live in chicago. Near West Side is good, University Village near UIC is good. You dont have any other good options on the train line out to Aurora since it goes thru some not so desirable neighborhoods on the southwest side after the train leaves Union Station.

Think about the area South of Lake, North of Roosevelt, West of the Lake (or realistically, Canal) and East of Ashland.
Near west side is where you want to be, if you want to be near Union Station. The real question is. Can you afford it??
Greektown (West loop) would be the best place. It is near University of Illinois at Chicago. Lots of good Bars, clubs, resturants. More importantly Union Station is within walking distance. I just hope that your workplace in Aurora is close to the metra station. I say that because there is no regular bus service in Aurora.

I can't tell if you said that you've tried replacing your starter and/or starter relay. If not, that'd be my next guess. Check out Suntrust. I got my original mortgage with them, and refinanced with them as well. One thing you want to watch out for is ARMS and 40 year loans, etc. Try to get a fixed rate 30 year loan. 15 year can be tempting because of the lower interest rate, but don't do it unless you're sure you can make the payments. You can always pay more than your standard monthly payments to pay down a 30 year loan faster.

You might also consider a home improvement loan instead of refinancing your mortgage.. but a re-finance is worth it if you can get a lower interest rate and don't mind extending the life of your loan

Usually a remote of that cost will have good directions to help you to set up your system. I recently purchased a Logitech 880 Harmony remote. Works great and does everything that I could ever need. I would strongly look at the Harmony series if you are going to be spending that much.

What you need to do is get something with a Dual Core, 64 bit support, good on chip cache and a ton of ram. I suggest you get nothing under 4GB of Ram and have a system that you can upgrade to 8MB or Ram.

I think Persephone and Andromeda are too sci-fi and mythic to create anything but laughter when the child grows up.

Siobhan, Roisin, and Saoierse are neat. I like them a lot. On the other hand, they're very difficult to spell and pronounce. The child will have trouble learning it when they're young, and teachers will find it impossible to read the names during attendance.

Deirdre and Joanna have always struck me as kind of '60s vintage, and they aren't my favorite.
