I felt compelled to write this prose. Hope you guys like it and Merry X-mas!?

Christmastime

By: lilrick007

As the weather turns from warm days filled with laughter and fun; are now filled with chiller temperature and hot cocoa. Days of turkey and joy are here! Days of love and family embrace the common man. Christmas light goes up and carols are singing! Everywhere you look, the spirit of the holidays is in the air like aroma of roasted chestnuts. People are hustling and bustling on the busy streets of the city, with wrapped package in hand, little ones peeking in windows trying to catch a glimpse of that new toy or gaming system.

In the city park, families and couples are walking and listening to carolers singing joyful songs of the babe that was born 2,000 yrs ago. Couples walking hand in hand whispering sweet words to their love ones; feeling the romantic aurora of the season never forgetting the reason for the season. Children skating on the large pond, playing a pick-up hockey game that almost resembled a real one!! So this holiday season remember to keep the real reason for the season alive and to cherish your family and friends; and pray for peace on earth and good will toward men.

Thanks for those inspiring prose. Season Greetings to you too.
Nice JOB, couldn't have put it better myself.....
Where do you live ... Mayberry RFD?
It is a nice sentiment, but the editor in me has some snigglers

Either "carols are sung" or "carollers are singing".

"Romantic aurora" or aura?

Shouldn't it end "good will toward all"?
